greenpower scooter has joined forces with Perrone Robotics to up-fit the EV Star with their TONY (To Navigate You) autonomous vehicle system. This will allow fleets to easily transition to autonomous vehicles. The AV Star can also be wirelessly charging up to 75 kW.

We were able to test drive the EV9 on an unpaved highway for several hours, and found it to be simple to drive, and comfortable to drive for long distances. The ride is smooth and smooth over ruts and bumps, while the EV9 is a master of reducing wind and road noise on the highway. The car's acceleration is surprisingly quick, and it features adjustable regenerative brakes that permit "one-pedal driving" simply by releasing the accelerator.

GreenPower produces around 10 EV Star buses per month for Jacksonville Transit Authority. The Jacksonville Transit Authority is replacing their fleet of diesel vehicles with 100 electric cars. GreenPower will increase production to meet the demand of the Biden Administration, which is looking to electrify all school buses in America. Their EV Star buses are the first of their kind to be Altoona tested and FMVSS certified, Buy America compliant, and ADA certified. This will make them eligible for federal transit grants.
