World of Warcraft - Item Upgrade

Item upgrade allows players to increase the level of weapons and armor that are equippable. This boosts the power of the equipment, in addition to sometimes adding buffs or the rerolling of an affix.

It is important to keep in mind that upgrading magic and common gear isn't always worth it. Rare and unique gear will soon surpass the standard equipment and upgraded magic.

Cost

The player has to spend gold to upgrade an item. The cost to upgrade an item is based on the item's current level and the type of upgrade. Upgrades to weapons are usually cheaper than upgrades for armor, since weapons have lower requirements. The amount of Gold needed increases as an item is upgraded.

The upgraded items will also have enhanced stats that can boost its performance in different ways. This can include increasing its attack power or critical strike chance. The upgraded item can also provide additional buffs to the weapon it is equipped with. These upgrades are able to increase the overall strength of a unit or a single unit, and could be a major influence on the gameplay.

Items can be upgraded at any item upgrader NPC in the game. Generally, these NPCs are located in major cities or questing areas. Players can also locate item upgraders when they visit dungeons with high-level bosses, or by talking to the NPCs in their garrisons of their faction.

The World of Warcraft item upgrade item system lets players increase the level of their weapons, armor, and trinkets. This process is largely identical to the process used for gear reforging in Mists of Pandaria and Warlords of Draenor, but instead of using the currency that is appropriate, players must visit an NPC to upgrade their items to complete the process.

Upgrades to items can be costly, particularly when it comes to weapons and armor. Depending on which upgrade track you choose, each item level increase can cost Valorstones or Crests. The costs can be prohibitive for players who do not have the resources or are unwilling to grind.

The bonus is a combination of a substat that is guaranteed and an undetermined stat that can vary from upgrade to upgrade.

Reroll Tokens can be used to reroll an item which has been upgraded. The new item comes with different set extra bonuses, and a lower level for the item. The rerolled item is also likely to have different requirements for strength and dexterity. It is important to remember that the rerolled item does not have its original level or any of its wasted resources.

Rerolling some upgraded items is only possible if the item that was upgraded was Epic, Rare or Unique. Extraordinary items can also be eligible for rerolling, but their original stats will be replaced by an uninvolved bonus. Rerolling a Rare item will result in a normal version of the same type, whereas rerolling an Epic item will result in an elite version of the same type.

An upgraded item might have extra modifiers, which can further increase its stats and enhance its performance. These additional modifiers aren't included in the upgrade price. They can be acquired through questing, buying them on the Trading Post or from other players. Additionally, they can be earned by completing certain missions in the game.

To upgrade an item of equipment it is necessary to visit the NPC [Armorto upgrade an item, visit the NPC [Armor] Boboko in Central Flarine. You will need Power Dices depending on the item upgrader kit. (Dice 6 can be dropped by monsters 21+, Giants and Bosses; Dice 12 can be found from Bosses). You will also require different amounts of Minerals, Erons and Giants.

Time

Items upgrades can be used to improve the power of your ship and gear without the need to level them. Although upgrading isn't expensive, it is an excellent way to increase your stats without having spend as much time fighting. It is important to understand the benefits and costs prior to investing your money or time.

Each upgrade increases the base stat of an item by a specific amount, and also offers a chance for a bonus substat increase. The random substat could range from a small increase to a significant boost. It's best to focus on the best-in-slot items first, since they will give you a bigger return on your investment.

You can check the amount of time needed to complete an upgrade when you open your inventory and select the weapon, ship or other accessory. The upgrade window will show the expected completion date and progress. In certain situations, you might be able to speed the process of upgrading by applying a Glyph.

Black Lion Salvage or Ascended Salvage offer a salvage kit that allows you to salvage all or a portion of upgrade components. This is not the case for legendary equipment or upgrades that can only be recovered with an upgrade extractor or making a claim with the appropriate Karma merchant.

Take advantage of the benefits

The upgrading of items provides players with currency and a range of items. Each upgrade also has a chance to grant a random stat bonus. The amount of bonus differs between upgrades and is generally higher for rare items. The Great Vault can be searched by players to determine whether an item is upgradeable. The search can help determine whether the item is in a certain tier and whether the player will benefit from a particular upgrade.

During the upgrade process, an item will gradually grow closer to the next stage, but it is not always able to reach its full upgrade bar. This process is based on Growthstones and Sollant however there is a 10% chance of getting an upgraded item after just one cycle. The higher the level an item attains, the greater its boosted stats value and the more items it is able to upgrade to.

Upgrade components can be inserted into weapons, armor and trinkets in order to gain an attribute bonus or an additional effect, while the equipment is being worn. Some upgrade components also have cosmetic effects. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, buying from vendors or the Trading Post, looting or receiving them as gifts. Players can also find upgraded items using an Upgrade extractor, or salvage with a high-tier salvage kit. Glyphs that are positioned on tools for gathering are able to be swapped.

By selecting the item and pressing the green button with a an arrow for rerolling, a player can reroll it to create an upgradeable item. This will change the layout of the item window and allow players to choose up to six items to "recycle". The item will be replaced by a level 1 item. Recycled items won't keep their status, nor will the resources used to upgrade it.

The maximum level of upgrade item for an item is determined by the item's tier and its quality. Rare and Epic items are able to be upgraded to levels up to nine, whereas common items can only be upgraded to level six. The upgrade items of an item is added to the base stats of the item. This means that they won't grow further after a certain level.
