The XL Air is a very impressive 3 wheeler buggy. It's easy to comprehend why it's earned the highest praise from its customers. It's extremely light - the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg - and it's also super-easy to build. In fact, I was able to complete the entire setup and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included the tying of the fabric to the carrycot!

The Runner is designed for athletic parents who are eager to go out and explore. The large pneumatic wheels are able to be used on forest and field trails. The front wheel is lockable and can be rotated to allow for greater versatility. The stroller also features 5-point safety harness with a front bar to keep your child safe on all journeys. The parking brake will keep the stroller stationary while you rest. The comfortable seat is easy to lower to a lying position, and the canopy opens to reveal with netting to ensure maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.

The Runner will accompany you on your next adventure whether it's a short jog, a longer hike or a long distance trek. It features a completely flat lay-flat seat and suspension air wheels for smooth and comfortable riding. The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds easily to fit in car boot spaces and storage areas.

Red Kite's Pace is a fantastic product from the budget-friendly British brand. They are well-known for their simple, well-designed products that are essential for parents. It's the most recent - and priciest - product in their bargain-priced lightweight stroller line. It, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible which means you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).

The new Pace comes with some amazing design features such as rose-gold hues on the hood, chassis, and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from. The grey, tan and cream fabrics in the stroller and the car seat are super elegant and there is an option to add an coordinating leather cover handle and bumper bar as well.

The stroller seat can be used from birth until a maximum weight of 22kg. It easily converts to a two-in-one reversible position, which is either parent-facing or facing the world. The stroller seat has multi lie back positions, softly padded leg rests and an extended sun canopy that has concealed zip sections, a viewing through flaps and a retractable sun visor section.

Furthermore, when folded it's Pace measures up at 56 33 x 43 x 32cm, which is enough to qualify as hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair, among others. It's also a breeze to fold down, using two buttons on either side of the handlebar which just click in and pop up.

Bugaboo Fox 5

Bugaboo's Fox 5 is designed to be the ultimate all-terrain stroller. Its unique chassis, coupled with a shorter wheel-distance makes it more maneuverable than its predecessor. I tried it out with my two children - a toddler and an eight-week old - across rocky pavements along woodland paths, grassy trails and even cobblestones.

The wheels that are puncture-proof are large in size - 22cm and a whopping 30cm - so they can cope with many different terrains. They also come with a handy flap that opens or closes to let more air to circulate if you need it and is a nice touch. It's a little larger than some pushchairs but does not feel heavy or bulky when you are pushing it across bumpy surfaces.

The seat fabric is machine washable and the frame and faux leather grips are simple to wipe down. It is also quieter than other pushchairs, and I felt at ease in the urban streets. Another benefit is that it comes with accessory points, which means you can put in footmuffs, parasols, changing bags, and even a snack tray. You can also use the hood to block out wind and rain, although it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single stroller, but you can attach their Comfort 3 wheeled pushchair Board (not included) to give your child some extra leg room. The bassinet took about 20 minutes to set-up, and it took a similar time to convert it into a seat.
