Check out the Joie Evalite Duo for an ideal, lightweight solution for urban streets. It's easy to maneuver, and it has a large basket that is full of storage. It can accommodate twins starting at birth and accepts two car seats, or a carrycot with seat. The seats must be facing toward the forward direction and there isn't space to store an item under the seat. You will require a sidepack.

If you're looking to take off-road trips then the Mountain Buggy Duet is a great option. It's a side-by-side with the slimmest footprint of any double buggy available on the market. It's easier to maneuver through narrow doors on public transport, and to climb over and over kerbs. It also has a handbrake that is attached to the handlebar that can be adjusted for more security and safety.

Another lightweight choice is the UPPAbaby Vista 2 Double it can be used to accommodate twins or a toddler and a baby. The seats have a multi-position reclining with UPF 50+ sunshades. The canopy can be adjusted so that the sun does not get into your child's eyes. The iCandy Orange is one of the most well-known double buggies available due to its outstanding comfort. It's an all-terrain pushchair with soft suspension that is able to handle bumpy surfaces. It has 30 different seating configurations as well as a built-in table for older children who prefer to walk, and a 'cinema mode that raises the back seat for better visibility.

Alternately, the phil&teds dots is a brilliant single buggy that is available from day one which is then able to take 2 (or 3 wheel pushchair with car seat!) different configurations. This is especially helpful if you have an infant in a car seat, since the frame can be equipped with a wedgie to allow for optimal lying flat, or car seat adapters to many brands.

Suspension

The suspension of a triple wheeled buggy will determine how easy your child/children and you can push it. It is crucial to have a smooth ride, because babies can feel every bump that comes along the road. This is especially true if you are driving on rough terrain such as grass or unpaved roads. Some models come with locking front tires that help maneuver and get over obstacles like curbs.

Some models have tyres with air filled that are ideal for all-terrain riding, but they are susceptible to punctures. Be sure to keep an extra set of tyres inside the trunk. Some models have gel or foam tyres that are specifically designed to handle bumps and are less susceptible to punctures, however, you may feel a bit stiff and uncomfortable for your child's back when you decide to jog.
