Guild Wars 2 Item Upgrade

The stats of an item upgrader kit (go directly to Mdwrite) are improved by upgrading it, also known as "upping". Each upgrade increment increases the stat linearly.

Players can recycle six items at a time to gauge the upgraded component of each item. The cost of recycling a piece of equipment increases according to their rarity and level.

Upgrade components

An upgrade for an item in Guild Wars 2 is a process that can increase the power of your armor and weapons. These upgrades change the name of the item upgrades to add an adjective, such as "Radiant" or "Minor vigor. There are some exceptions, however. the noninscribable wands, foci and shields from the Prophecies and Factions campaigns, that cannot be upgraded using any kinds of mods at all.

Glyphs

Glyphs are an effective tool to communicate visual information. They are animated to draw the attention of the viewer and spark curiosity. The animation of glyphs mimics the body language and makes them more effective in communicating the message of a language barrier. Glyphs also improve the retention of the message by triggering an experience of familiarity in the brain.

Each glyph has a range of values that it could increase a stat's value according to the item when you open the glyph in the Glyph Storage or when you use it to enchant an Artifact. This is not the actual amount at which the glyph will increase a stat, but the maximum amount it can do so. The actual value of the glyph is determined by the tier and quality of the item you are creating it for.

Most upgrade components inserted into items can't be repaired or replaced without dismantling the equipment in question, except for legendary equipment and upgrades. If you have a glyph or rune you don't want to use but it's not been applied to the gear yet, you can move the item to a different piece by using the Upgrade Glyphs menu in the Glyphs Panel. This will create the new Glyph Set with the selected glyph.

You can remove the glyph using a Black Lion Salvage Kit, or an Ascended Salvage tool. The item on which the glyph is placed will be destroyed, however the upgraded item can be recovered by removing the glyph fragments.

The addition of a glyph to an item may cause it to become unstable, and the shards that are left of that glyph will disappear from your inventory when you take it down. Reroll tokens

Rerolls are a great option to upgrade an Best Item upgrader, however, players must be aware that it will reduce the overall ilvl the weapon by the number of rerolls used to increase the weapon to its ultimate ilvl. This reduction effect is most effective with ring items and Diadems, which have no alternatives to raise their ilvls.

The system of rerolls has been criticised by players for being expensive and it's more fair to let people pay for it with money or a food item which would allow players to modify their build without wasting time and effort. However paying for rerolls is not something the developers are planning to implement at this time in the game's development. They plan to add a potion that will allow players to alter their race in the future.

Leveling
